A Worlds First Event Combining Grime and Ballet
We teamed up with Notworking™ superstars Glug Events, Boxpark Wembley & Pravha UK to explore the fusion of grime and contemporary dance! It was an evening to celebrate both music and dance through performance, talks & workshops.
Headlining the evening was a brand new collaborative performance from leading lady in grime, Lioness & world class choreographer Alexander Whitley. Music produced by grime OG, Nat Powers & classically trained, Tanya Cracknell, AKA The Grime Violinist.
The Challenge
BoxPark were looking to attract a more culturally minded, and creative audience to their latest venue in Wembley. To do this they partnered with Glug Events to produce, curate and deliver the world first event with Studio BND providing disruptive and eye catching designs across social, video and digital.
The event required a series of bespoke designs across graphic, digital and motion, along with content strategy and marketing output. We filmed on location and built up the event narrative with footage & photos from rehearsals. This combined with a strong visual style and recognisable branding meant that our content resonated with talent and audiences, which resulted in the spread and sharing of the event.
